Our Board

The Board is and shall be responsible for setting the direction and priorities of the Corporation and for establishing general and basic policies and guidelines which, in its judgement, will best and most expeditiously result in the accomplishment of the corporate purpose.

Board of Directors

Reverend Craig French

Rev. Craig French is lead pastor of University United Methodist Church on East Genesee St, Syracuse, NY. A long-time urban pastor, he was converted to the cause of ending poverty and to the Choosing To Thrive process as a practical way for doing that, shortly after he came to the church and neighborhood. As a result, he has discovered his joy and passion, and is eager to encourage and assist others in becoming part of this important work. He and his wife have three adult children and they are helping raise two granddaughters.

Kenyon M. Craig

Ken Craig resides in Cazenovia. He is one of the original founders and current president of Housing Visions Unlimited, Inc. In addition to his duties with Housing Visions Unlimited, Inc. and its' affiliates, he serves on the Board of Directors for the University Hill Corporation, East Genesee Regent, Inc. and Central New York Tech Development Organization, Inc. Ken has also served as Vice President of Finance for Rochester Area Hospitals Corp., and Controller of Athens Development, Inc. He has also held financial and planning management positions at the Xerox Corporation and Pyramid Companies. He holds degrees from Lehigh University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Rebecca Newman
Executive Vice President & COO

Becky resides in Liverpool, NY. She joined Housing Visions in 2006 and rounds out the Executive Management Team. She is now responsible for guiding the progress of the construction, development and property management teams. Her keen ability to create a culture of working together with a hands-on approach furthers the company’s mission and reach. As a Certified Property Manager and licensed real estate broker, Ms. Newman has a high understanding of the real estate industry, particularly affordable and subsidized housing. Her vast working knowledge of a variety of housing programs, paired with her continual focus on improving the company’s operational efficiencies, furthers Housing Visions’ reputation for developing, constructing, and managing quality housing. Ms. Newman also has the designations of Assisted Housing Manager and Certified Credit Compliance Professional, in addition to proficiency certifications in Low Income Housing Tax Credit Compliance, Public Housing Management and the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Ms. Newman holds a BA degree in Economics and a BA degree in Public Policy Law from Hobart & William Smith Colleges

Maryann Winters
Vice - Chair

Maryann resides in Fayetteville, New York. She is the chair of Housing Visions Unlimited, Inc. Board of Directors. She is a CPA and a partner with Sirchia & Cuomo, LLP. She is a member and past president of the Central New York Estate Planning Council; member of National Association of Certified Valuation Analysis. Additional affiliations include The New York Business Development Corporation; Aurora of Central New York; Onondaga Mental Health Association; National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum and the Civil Rights Connection.

Donald Hazelmyer

Donald resides in Cicero, New York and is President of Dynamic Hybrids, Inc., a high tech electronics manufacture, partner in I360, a specialty lighting company, and a consultant for Syracuse Research Corporation. Donald is currently the chair for the finance committee of Housing Visions Unlimited, Inc. and Treasurer and Board Member of Visions for Change, Inc. further improving the quality of life for Housing Visions’ residents. He is a former chairman of the Board for Syracuse Flying Club and former manager for General Electric and Lockheed Martin Corporation. Donald attended Syracuse University for Electrical Engineering.

Paul Predmore

Paul Predmore is a member and manager of the Syracuse law firm, Bousquet Holstein, PLLC. In his legal practice, Mr. Predmore provides business and tax advice to individuals and a number of for-profit and not-for profit companies in Central New York, including Housing Visions Unlimited, Inc. and all of its affiliated companies. Paul presently is President of the Loretto Foundation Board of Trustees, serves on the board of the Onondaga Citizens League and the advisory Board of the Onondaga County Stop DWI Program. Mr. Predmore is a graudate of Leadership Greater Syracuse and a past Board Member and Board Chair of that organization.
